![]() It really makes it hard to relate to or like any of these characters.īefore you know it we’re seeing all sorts of weird stuff including some drawings of bestiality in a book about a fight with a beast in the local forest 200 years ago. ![]() ![]() The drawings sexually excite Lucy and eventually leads to a very long scene with some of the film’s most famous moments. This scene of course is the dream sequence in which Lucy dreams of herself as Romilda (Lane) from the book and is chased by the beast before she starts having sex with it. Between that and watching flowers being put in certain places, I really was close to turning the film off at this point. The Beast itself looks so cheap and awful and there really is no need to see its penis as many times as we do. Maybe I’m missing the point that this movie is trying to make but I just didn’t get it, I didn’t understand why anyone would find this movie appealing at all.
